Having qualified as a teacher in 2005, I have spent eight years working for the Borough of Greenwich, in two, fully inclusive schools and one year on supply, whilst developing my Childcare business. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught children with a variety of skills, needs, gifts and personalities, and whilst often challenging, these years have fully cemented my desire to continue working directly with children and their families. This aspiration has been key in making the decision to develop my own childcare setting, with a child centred approach, based on my wide experience in the classroom and playground and recognising the need for a strong relationship between all the central adults in children’s lives.
