Wherever possible, the children undertake a daily outdoor excursion. We are firm believers in the words of Sir Ranulph Fiennes, “there is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.” We enjoy outdoor and indoor experiences throughout the seasons. If the day has begun with a garden play session in the morning, followed by nap and quiet time, our excursion will take place in the afternoon and will be within twenty minutes driving distance, remaining local. As time has progressed, the excursions we have taken have become more ambitious and regular day trips to areas outside London became a feature of our care, with National trust venues being among our firm favourites. For more details of our daily trips, take a look at our Instagram and Facebook pages. We update weekly with highlights of the learning and experiences we have enjoyed.
